My three children are in foster
care on a permanent care order-
The children were taken as a result
of me suffering some mental health problems. I was wrongly diagnosed by a ‘court
appointed expert’ as having a personality disorder only for this diagnosis to be
later corrected by two doctors letters instructing the Social Services that I am
indeed very well and complying with medication for just depression -
[considering my children were in care] Yet, knowing this medical fact had been
officially confirmed to the Social Services they still insisted that my poor
children remain in care?
While in care my children have
suffered enormously, Social Services are investigating allegations of abuse and
where my children have been continue let down by an awful system Social Services
as even cruelly separated my children from one another and the damage this is
causing my loved ones is just being constantly ignored by officials.
Ex: In a recent incident my oldest
child was found drunk at the side of a road by the Police then moved to a place
of safety. All my three children desperately want to return home with their
family with my youngest persistently telling Social Workers:
“you are not my mummy’ ‘I want my
mummy’ but I am not allowed to have my mummy why?”
The BBC recently featured my case on
National
lunchtime news edition; I have also contributed to National Radio debates
including a Radio Five Live programme. All media presenters/journalists ECT have
found my case to be an outrageous injustice. Especially when they also learned
that I care for my Three Stepchildren yet the Social Services feel they are
perfectly safe? This seems to be a complete breakdown of clear thinking by the
Local Authority resulting in the continued abuse of my children who remain in
care, while Social Services know they would be perfectly well cared for back at
home with their family – it’s just senseless...
“I only have contact ,to my
children just nine times a year now, I also receive phone calls once a month
less than that of a highly dangerous prisoner locked away in our jails. Why is
this?”
It’s my families’ disgrafull
experiences with the failing Family Court system and the Social Services that
drove me to the internet for assistance and I was amazed to find hundreds of
other families affecting thousands of children suffering a similar fate.
I now help Fassit UK [The Families
Social Services Inquiry Team] an excellent Voluntary Organisation addressing
these issues helping parents throughout the UK. My interest in Family
Proceedings as now extended to a career move where I am now a studying ‘Law
Student’ in the hope of eventually - on qualification - to offer a Legal
Advocacy Service for Parents and Children embroiled in Family Law.
I am a married caring mum who takes
her responsibilities very seriously and I just want my children home because
there is no medical/physical/logical reasons why we should be apart.
Thank you kindly
