As reported extensively in the TV/Press over the last few weeks, Nicky and Mark's three children were taken away from them following allegations of child abuse, after their son suffered a fractured leg.

Nicky's family has a history of brittle bone disease, and although Nicky doesn't suffer from the condition, it's likely that she's passed on the condition to her children.
