How many more Children's Lives must be lost..

The young Victims

This page was first published by www.fassit.co.uk © in February 2006

We live in a country where presently a minority stand more unaccountable than ministers in our own government. An unaccountable minority who escape prosecution for negligence in their duties to protect our most venerable children. Social Services inspectors Ofsted stated they carried out 'internal' reviews of 50 serious cases involving death or injury to children between April 2007 and March 2009. The fact is, in that same period between April 2007 and March 2009 282 children lost their lives and in '212 of those cases the families were known to the Social Services.'

Four children die from abuse every week
By Laura Clark
20th November 2008 Daily Mail

Up to four children die every week in England from abuse or neglect, a damning report by Ofsted has revealed. Read the Ofsted report in full

Warning: Baby P, below, is only one of many children dying from abuse and neglect and where their deaths could have been prevented.  Where have you all heard this before or something similar?:-

A spokesman for the Council's social service department said "We have learned lessons from this tragic case and have already taken steps to improve procedures in the interest of our vulnerable children"

Yes? well read on.......because lessons are clearly not being learned!

Why are these children dying?

Why are these children dying?

This page is in memory of children died of neglect or abuse while under the care of the social service agencies! Many died suspiciously or from neglect. Most of their lives and deaths went unnoticed. The deaths of these children - and what government agencies did or didn't do to save their lives - Even when they die, their stories are rarely told.

Lost Boys and Girls Memorial

Lost Boys and Girls Memorial
Each of the following children died while in the supposed care and control of Child Protective Services.
If you want protection, don't look to Uncle Sam to give it to you. You may not be able to live with their solution. This page is dedicated to the memory of the children who have died after social service agencies removed them from the care of their parents, placing them with foster care providers, adopted families, group homes, or psychiatric facilities.
